I reckon that pricing is a real bargain considering what you get with the package. First and foremost, you get a properly tuned air-rifle, which you can't get "off the shelf". Secondly, the quality of the accessories included means it's ready to go. I must confess to an addiction to well-tuned springers, and having had Lewis as a supplier/tuner over some 25 years, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Go, Lewis!

I’ll be drawing from A&P’s inventory
They’ll have other models in there
Which ones interest you?

I've always wanted a deluxe stocked HW 35 E before they cease making them, last of the classic's.

I contacted HW a couple of years ago and even though it's not in their catalogue they still do make the nickel HW 35 E

But never went ahead with it cause the dealers here don't really care or understand.

Your influence might help? don't know, no hurry but if ever you're talking to them A&P, may-be you could mention it.

Trouble is customs handling etc etc, never know what condition it will arrive.

Thanks Lewis.

Looks like a short barrel for a 35 E . I think the Barrel on a E is 22 inch
My timber is not that nice !!

Found the old email to Hans Weihrauch, it was longer ago than I thought, 2015.

Dear Mr. Teleki,

we refer to your e-mail of 30.07.2015.
The stocks we do offer for our model HW 35 E are made from standard grade walnut. There are differences between the various blancs.
However, we do not offer stocks with higher grades. It is not possible to order a special selected stock.

A plated version is still available.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards

Hans-H. Weihrauch

The plated version was available then but I guess the stock grain is the luck of the draw.

Yes please Lewis and you know me I'll pay whatever it takes to get it here safely, hell I paid 2k to get a Webley MK1 pistol here from Holts auction London, then a few years later I bought another from Holts a pre war boxed Webley Senior another 2k shipping customs etc, only to have customs tell me because it didn't have a safety they wouldn't release it, it was then destroyed, what a waist of airgunning history, that's why I worry about importing guns you never know what clown handles them, I have had so many experiences now with customs, cause I have imported a few over the years.

By the way sorry about hijacking your original post, don't you hate that when others change the subject.
