Pulsar XQ 50 thermal

Post by Shep25 »

Just wondering on people's thoughts and experiences using the Pulsar XQ50 thermal.
Seriously looking at buying one to mount on a Tikka 243w.

I think you should buy it Bob. Then send it to me for inspection.

Best bet would be checking out some night vision groups on Facebook (if your on there).
There’s a few YouTube clips as well.
As a last resort though I’m happy to review yours after you pick it up (obviously Kicken is first in line).

Thanks for the offer of the free review service guys .
I might just hold onto it and just post pictures of my thermal smile and see what you think..
Going to be a big learning curve but I'm looking forward to it like a fat kid in a candy store.

You’ll need someone to hold onto it while your thermal smile photo is taken... lol

I have the Apex also (75) as well as an ATN Thor. I regret not buying them sooner and not getting to use them enough.
There was a lot of chatter about the new Pulsar and ATN thermals becoming cheaper as technology advances. Well they haven't. The XQ i know nothing about other than what i have read. Read some reviews where oddly they compare the image to the Apex which appears to be a standard other units are often compared to. If they are as good as the reviews say, then the unit should be brilliant. You wont regret it.
