Other than some of the colour options being a bit 'bright', they look pretty interesting. However I wonder how well they they they fit once adjusted to suit.
Did a bit more research and determine the check-piece and LOP is adjusted via the buttons on the stock...I had originally thought they were decorative.
Additionally the stock comes with hard plastic grip and fore-end as standard. "hunter" pieces.
You can buy "target" pieces consisting of a hogue overmolded pistol grip (different grip shape) and a beavertail style fore-end.
Interestingly, the stock comes standard with a quick detachable swivel that mounts on either side of the stock (see hole near foreward of the cheek piece button).
Nicely priced in the US at $189USD but obviously over the $100USD price, which limits our ability to order directly. Seems to range around $400-440 locally dependent on rifle fitment.
Yeah, it's not traditional but it looks cool.
As priced by a Cleavers it's a better bargain if you buy one of the complete Howa packages with it...
I bought one for my CZ455 in 22LR but I won't use it as I prefer their tactical/varmint stock, so ill list mine for sale soon. I don't like the shape or the feel,so it's a costly error for me.
