In The Snowy Mountains today separating calves from cows. A nice day so had a few shots early. Got the first group before the wind got up.
100 yards 5 shots 33.9 gr JSB Heavy Kings, skirts sized to .2515 and lubricated with Krytech bike chain wax whichh keeps the barrel clean a bit longer.
C-T-C. 0.594 inches.
There was one other sub inch but no pic.
The cattle are restless, lots of mooooing tonight.
Kind regards,
Harry.

No David. This is the new FX crown that has full length rifling, only 1:28 inch, in replaceable barrel liners. So it is possible to change the liners to dfferent twist rates for different pellets/bullets. The regulator can be adjusted from the outside too.
This is the one OZ Post bent the original barrel on. Fredrik sent me a3 new barrel. Seems to work OK.
BWest regards, Harry.

Great shooting Harry.
Not many years ago people gave us a second look when we mentioned shooting air rifle at 100 yards and getting inch and under groups.
I have retired the Cyclone just wore the poor old thing out and have been looking for another one. I bought a Royal a few months ago and it's a shooter. Lots of guys around Bendigo now have moved in to quality air rifles there are a few impacts ,crowns and Royals etc around town and I am slowly making contact with them about a few get together days .
Going to Add a Crown, streamline and impact to the collection soon
Regards
Chris Thomas
