Thanks Knackers sure was a hell of a first year :D :D

As JR said this year has seen me asking lots of questions, watching others, listening lots and even giving myself the occasional uppercut for not doing what I had been told, seen or heard

I am very fortunate to have the likes of JR, TZ, Blackpete and the other shooters here in Townsville really going out of their way to pass on the small bits of information that seem to have really helped me progress in leaps and bounds. This has also made me feel extremely welcome and wanting to come back each week to shoot with these guys.

Next year sees the bar set pretty high, especially by Blackpete at 1000yds in regards to score....... good job mate!

Looking forward to the new year :D

I missed the party, but we sort of have our own sub-branch of Auvarmint up here, and with the experience of the wise old heads there's a great chance to learn; I can just imagine what the scene would be like if we could achieve a National get-together one day, Oops!~ I mean week; it would be fabulous; heaps of info being exchanged, friendships cemented. and lots of powder burnt.
what do the members think?

Congrats to all the winners, but especially Albow and Blackpete :D

I hope your performance over the last year will encourage some more new faces into the sport.........just look at what can happen from simply stepping up and having a go :D

well done Albow. i can see I'm gonna be embarrassed. I tried it once then i threw the credit card at Shane Clancy so i will be the proof that its the driver, not the equipment when i struggle to be average next year!

Trev

The key is to listen to what the likes of Shane, Rinso, Ned and the other shooters down your way have to say and then put that into practice. You will probably be pretty surprised at the results you can achieve..... I know I was :D

hi all and thanks for the support,
can't wait to get into next year and i hope to meet some more of you guys in July. this is a great sport and the more we can promote it the better.

I need to express my thanks to ALL the guys i shoot with up here, i try to take notes from everyone because everyone (IMO) has something to contribute and you would be supprised at the little things you pick up that help the most. of coarse i can't forget Jr and Tz who have provided shit loads of tech advice over the years that has made the differance, thanks guys. i just hope no one remembers my efforts @ the 1000 on the iron man weekend, didn't even qualify, lost a shot off the paper and the group, HA what group.

Pete.
