Huston, we have a problem [emoji15]

Post by Camel »

Spot the problem ? Able to help me and my OCD out ? If so “we” are in desperate need of two Lapua 22-250 cases, or if I am extremely lucky, two Lapua 22-250AI cases. What you fellas got in your stash, PLEASE

Yep, just two to make up to a nice neat 100, hate empty holes in the ammo boxes, and also having two primers left over.

Hey Macca, thanks for that mate, if they are fire formed is great, I'll be giving them the full treatment like I have the other 98, f/l sized, trimmed, primer pockets reamed, annealed. Havent got the rifle yet, but it wont be long, just getting things ready. Sending a PM now. :D

Only thing worse than a couple of primers left over, is losing one on the floor in among all the spent primers and having to open a new box for just one.

You had better send him 3 Macca; I can just see THLD losing a case in the field somewhere and the OCD rearing its ugly head again.

I had the opposite. Prepped 50 cases and whilst reloading realised I only had 49 projectiles. Next time at the range the RO spotted the unloaded but primed case and wanted to know what the deal was.

Just tell him it is a fouler and the primer has a special lube in it and .1gr more powder gives you 280fps. That will keep him busy for a while

Good idea. The RO was concerned I was one of those people who would get a projie stuck in the chamber and then try to shoot it out with the next round.
