Everyones entitled to an opinion mate .. its all good. I can tell you I have no interest in them and thats the truth. The importer asked me to evaluate the Vortex products and I was suprised by the quality myself.

I would not recommend them if they were rubbish and the comments from others members on this forum who have purchased them bear out the facts. I DO NOT own a single Vortex scope as I have only tested them for the importer .. thats not to say I wont be buying one (I absolutly will) but at this time I dont need a scope of any type, I can say that the next hunting scope I purchase will be a Vortex .. probably a 4-12 for a 223 I picked up the other day.

End of the day mate you will buy what you are comfortable with I can only give you my opinion and then its your choice to make. As I stated at the start if you want the BEST its Smidt & Bender outside of that Leupold and Vortex are high quality with lifetime warranty and thats hard to go past.

ps I will be at Majura range Canberra Saturday afternoon and at the 1000yd at McIntosh range Canberra on Sunday morning if anyone wants to call in I will take a couple Vortex scopes down for you to look at close up.
