Congratulations to Missed on the R9, you won't regret it. What a surprise, and indeed a coincidence, it has been to be back on this board for the first time in about 10 years. :D

I go straight to this forum and find a rifle very similar to my own .20 Beeman R 9 deluxe, purchased from Lewis back in September 2005, with a few extras and a JM Hornet kit. Just in the last couple of days I replaced my old Simmons Whitetail Classic (4-12x44AO) with a new, if superseded, Hawke Airmax 4-12x40AO with Map 6 reticle, and temporarily zeroed her in at 25 metres using JSBs. Everything is going well and groups are very good although afternoon winds are giving me the shits. Much more testing of pellets to do and setting up a longer range to enable
a 32 metre zero, but all must wait for major home renos to be completed. :(

Sorry, but I couldn't resist busting in, hope I haven't stepped on sensitive toes or broken too many forum protocols. I suppose I should start a new topic to introduce my humble self and post a few pictures etc. I'll get around to it soon. Excuse the rude interruption and carry on.
