Yeah, that wasnt much of a fun event for me, I never could get the hang of using one of them things on clays, didnt go too bad on the ducks when I was a few years younger. Funny how when you are hungry and need a feed it makes you shoot just that much better.
Thats good to hear, I used to love reading his posts they really got down to the nitty gritty.daisy wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2017 5:58 pm Harry is still around bit, doesn't post as much as before, even on the yellow forum http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537/me ... +follow+up.
Ill flog my mate Frankie's hand pump for a start, then look at getting a cylinder down the track sometime in the future. Another thing to keep a look out for I spose.
Gnome might help with the hand pumping, seeing as he wants to burn calories.......
Okay, well the magic number in the UK for an air rifle is 12 ft/lb. Anything below this level is available to the Poms without having to get a "Firearms Certificate", which is a bit like a licence issued to them by the police. So 12 ft/lb and less is popular in the UK. There is also a Field Target class for springers with less than 12 ft/lb.
