Re: Any Theoben / Beeman Rapid Owners
It is a Rapid Mk1 in .20 Bought it from Lewis years ago but has seen little use shoots Kodiaks and JSB at around 27 FP has only done around 500 pellets.
I have a couple of MFR's in 20 so the Mk1 just doesn't get used. But it's nice so I never did anything about moving it on

Re: Any Theoben / Beeman Rapid Owners
Thanks Chris,
I bought a newer model Mk1 a little while back in .22, It shoots very nicely bumping 33 fpe. Ive been putting it through its paces seeing what its capable of and so far I'm very happy with it.
Im fairly new to PCPs but, so I have little to compare it with.
At 50m (in its sweet spot ) its more accurate than my Sako P94s Varmint, thats my benchmark for accuracy as shes a sweetie
Matt has a quick fill on his Rapid too, from memory its a Dr Bobs.

Re: Any Theoben / Beeman Rapid Owners
I have been lucky over the years all my PCP's shoot well never had a bad one all seem to do under 12mm at 50m with no effort.
Even my battered old FX cyclone still almost one hole groups at 50
Going to order three quick fills from RAW in the states sent them a email but haven't heard back.

Hi Chris,chris thomas wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 11:43 am Hi Trapper,

My adaptor was made buy a bloke in the USA who goes by the username 220Swift on one of the forums. The adaptor screws into the threaded hole in the bottom of the receiver. It required me to make a jig to hold the stock while I drilled a hole. I then epoxied a piece of aluminium tube into the hole and filed it flush with the wood. It is very neat, but was a lot of stuffing around. Expensive too. The adaptor plus micro-bore hose was AUD230.

Re: Any Theoben / Beeman Rapid Owners
That's what I should have bought. I bought a 0.25 cal for shooting foxes, but the gun is too loud to shoot in my neighbourhood. The foxes have all been baited anyway, so my target of choice now is Indian Mynas. A lower powered 0.20 would be ideal.chris thomas wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 11:42 am It is a Rapid Mk1 in .20 Bought it from Lewis years ago but has seen little use shoots Kodiaks and JSB at around 27 FP has only done around 500 pellets.

What power level do you have your .25 running at and how did it go on the foxes trapper ?

Re: Any Theoben / Beeman Rapid Owners
Lewis told me it was 40fpe. I've never tested it myself. Never shot a fox either because it is just so loud and I live in built up area. I believe it will comfortably dispatch a fox at 50m.
