Sean (220) got me in a Sightron s-Tac 4-20x50 and his mum dropped it of this morning (what other LGS does this
)
I fitted it up to the Sako L461 in 20 PPC it is fitted with the Duplex reticle so should be good at night as well as for daylight sniping duties,More on this Sniping aspect later,
Pics and an opinion later as we are just going to sight the Sportco in for Miss

I have the 2.5-17.5x56 and its pretty good, it looses a bit of clarity at the ends of the adjustment range but in the middle its great. I've shot rocks out to 1200y with one on a 223.
I'm waiting to hear what you say about the performance.

I'll be interested to hear how it goes too. I had a good look at them at the Shot Expo and thought they provided a good set of features for the money.

Can you see bullet hole's at 100m with it set at 20x as that's probably one of the best tests.

Looks to be a "leverage enhancer" to assist with turning the magnification level?

Makes sense, although it may be easier to design and manufacture scopes that don't require a stillson to turn them. I'm thinking of a particular scope I have now...which isn't a Sightron.
