Re: been to the range.
As per another post, I missed the opportunity to shoot today as it was "Juniors Day". I would have liked to have a shoot but figured it's better to encourage new shooters than complain they stopped me shooting. There's always another day (mostly).

First Sunday of the month starting at 12pm excluding January. This is the best junior program running in the country. The Raven wrote:As per another post, I missed the opportunity to shoot today as it was "Juniors Day". Yep. I didn't know that was the schedule. Their online calendar is a bit hard to decipher. I just decided to pop down as the weather was improving and I had nothing to do.kickinback wrote: ↑Sun Aug 06, 2017 10:20 pmFirst Sunday of the month starting at 12pm excluding January. Yes, I would have liked a shoot as I haven't fired the Wildcat in sometime. Perhaps another day this week.
Springvale needs more benches to cater for generously sized shooters. There is no way I'm going to uncomfortably lay on a dirty mat to get sub-standard shots...I'd rather a bench.

Re: been to the range.
Been a while since I posted on here. Built a new rifle and just starting load tuning.
Pretty happy so far at 700m. Shot a 60.3 before this but it wasn't as flat as these. Actually 2 different seating depths in this group so I'm stopping there and going to tweak the barrel tuner next. Conditions were fairly good, a slight tailwind blowing and flicking shots left and right.

Re: been to the range.
OH MY GOD why did I shoot 900 yards yesterday What an ass kicking. 900 yards wind fishtailing down the range, then switching to a 9 o'clock at full strength. top score of the day in F class was a 50.3 but not by me, best I could do was only 50.1 Head down take a shot and look up and the flags were pointing the other way, oh well still a good training day. Not a keeper for the championship. Finished with a 95.2
