Doing load development.

I'm in the process of working up a load in the 223. I'll give this a try.

I've been doing that for a while now, I just fire 2 shots of each charge instead of 1.

For Fclass have always done my ladder tests and then refined the loads at 500 yards. Have found this stops the false readings testing at 100 can give. Have done it enough and the results have been predictable enough that I only use a chronograph after the load has been worked for final velocity checks. Can tell within 20 shots if a barrel is a keeper for Fclass or only a hunting barrel.

Seddo that 260 AI is a seriously good cartridge. The cartridge all Creedmoors should be reamed out to :mrgreen:

I agree with the first part but not the second. It’s a shit option if you want a repeater for heavy projies in a short action. It’s a cracker in a single shot!
