aJR,

I had hoped to get to Brisbane this year and shoot the Madden and the Fly but alas I will be working. Best of luck to all concerned.

cheers

Jeez they are all pretty close....shows how hotly contested these events are 8)

It might be a photo finish in the end, guess it all depends on the day :D

Got plenty of room on the mantlepeice there Rinso ?

kenny,

Not likely to add any silverware anytime soon. I would expect at least one contender to travel to Brisbane and after my pitiful effort at the Pro Cal I won't be hard to catch. There's alwys next year.

cheers

aJR,

yes the travelling can be painful even when you live down here .. 4hrs to Canberra, 10hrs to Melbourne, 6 hrs Batemans Bay, 12hrs to Brisbane.

I am trying to get to Townsville in July 2008 and am not looking forward to that drive.

Well either way I only have the Nov 1000 yd match left to shoot this year at sunny Canberra. I will shoot LG & HG to make it worth the drive, that means I get to compete with Dave Goodridge in both classes .. so I can get my arse kicked twice in one day.

My 12 year old will have his 6x47 Lapua by then I hope, so he can whip Ackley Improved in POP GUN class

Good luck with the 240 target 8) 8) 8)

cheers

CONGRATS to Pete Van Meurs (PRO CAL) for taking out the light gun SOTY, it was closely contested and after a consistent year the prize goes to Pete.

With the hard work that Pete puts in to help the rest of us I think this is a bigger effort than alot would realise

Guys,

Thanks ...  Don't know how I managed to get away with it.

kenny did n't you bet me that my boy would beat me

aJR,
I would have liked to have won it when you where a contender ... maybe I next year you will get to a third shoot.

Tony Z,
I am still hoping to get up your way for the Ironman shoot next year .. I am trying to talk Dave Goodridge & Shane Clancy into coming as well, would be great to get them up there too.
(We could probably fit AI and his popgun in the boot)

Peter Van Muers,

Well done mate .. you work harder at a shoot than anyone I know and its great to see you have a good season in both Long and Short range BR .. congratulations.
