in about a fortnight, if there are any vacancies remaining,( providing total nominations are less than 50 for the SCC), those who travel the farthest, will have the first option to shoot both HG and LG , if they wish to do so.

Dave,

Good to see some change from marked to blind. I will only be shooting HG at this time, as I don't yet have a LG that is competitive.

I still have a spare rifle that would be reasonably competitive. You are still welcome to use it.

Well once again I am astounded by the generosity of the bloke involved in this event, only a few minutes after posting my last, macca steps up and offers me the use of one of his rifles, and then Jacko rings and convinces me that I have to be involved, using either his heavy gun or the light one, depending on conditions.
You blokes are the tops, and not just those two, the lot of you. So Dave I guess you better put me back into where I was please mate, Ill be up Friday, Saturday and will have to come home late sunday afternoon. :D

Haha, doesn't matter how 'reasonably' competitive it is Macca you know lending someone your rifle will see you get beat by it. 😂😂

Yep. Murphy's law: no good deed goes unpunished.
Maybe we should let Camel use Jacko's rifle. Hmmmm.

The last rifle lent as i recall was by John Mac. That resulted in a new LG small group record at 1K. Then there was Jack who loaned his HG to Woolly a few years back. That didn't end well either as that is still the smallest day agg shot anywhere in the country. I stood behind him looking through a spotting scope watching each bullet trail go into the center. No two flags at any time were pointed in the same direction. When Jack tried to emulate that feat, the barrel said fuck you and chose to expire. Somehow I can see this all ending in tears. Tears of laughter and sadness from Camel and Grant. Lol.
Can there be someone handy and close by with a cam as this is going to be epic

Not so mate ... Jacko has spent half his life trying to prove you can't actually have enough pressure. In fact half the field at a lot of matches actually only turned up to see if Jacko would finally succeed and blow himself up. "Go the Rat"
But that's not the pressure your talking about is it.

what pressure,,the only gun im scared of going against iz my own light gun,,because i know wot it can do,,i lent it out at the fedral cup fly shoot in march to a feela and after a,b,c, target he woz gob smacked by it , so i pointed out he woz leading the field ,,, that did the trick , he went to peices after that,,but at least he knew wot to build and how to build it,, anyway i would rather see bums on seats and people enjoying themselfs ,, half the fun iz getting these things competive, so i hope the guys using them just enjoy them and u never know wot they will do,, :D ps camel if u use one of mine it will be heavy gun class,,

Excellent camaraderie from all concerned in offering to loan /share rifles. :D :D :D :D

Off the subject, having attended the Narromine Shire Council meeting last night, it is a pleasure to report that our newly elected mayor ( Councillor Craig Davies) first official invitation was to attend, extend a welcome to all and open the 2017 SCC , which he has generously agreed to do.

Naturally the dress code for the day will be warm casuals with matching ear muffs and SCC Cap!!!

cheers
