not a bad roll up at ND today for our 2nd official IBS 600yd BR Match.
as we only catered for just over 10 shooters, it was interesting to see the mathematics going into dividing 24 sausages into equal portions for 18 competitors and visitors. I think most went home still friends

seriously though, it was also interesting to hear the comments of some shooters ( TR,F Class and Fly shooters) who have never shot blind previously.
as someone said, "it certainly lifts the concentration factors" !!!
we have our next 1000yd BR in 4 weeks, we will see how many elect to shoot blind .
the positives, apart from the good numbers (this being a long weekend and some regulars were away)
* slide in slide out frames worked well- except they were shot around 6 times

* butts people did a great job
* 4 details flowed well
negatives
* scoring afterwards took much longer than anticipated - needs to be looked at and improved
* poor light and shadows prevented initial sighting in until around 9.30am
* sighting period also took extensive time, due to some having problems ?????
* overall match time seemed to drag on, needs to be more efficient.
A big POSITIVE was that the counselling, drug testing and inspirational speeches prior to the match, seemed to produce some pleasing results

Australian progressive results will be updated today.
cheers
