Wow.. the bidding got a little higher than I expected... its only a 6mm and all! Imagine what that makes a 30cal... might top $26-$28.. on a good day... I mean, thats even if anybody does bid!
Maybe I am compensating... well you know, big gun for a little dick.. oops hang on... that means I've got a big dick shooting a piss ant gun... What can I say.. compensating!!!
Looking at the SOTY.. two dashers in the top 4 positions...... That means a lot of wasted powder, no?
Cheers

Rinso.. you saying your 12 year old has a bigger wanger than you... compensating for him early on.... geeze, by time he's 18 he will be shooting a .177 air rifle and you, well into the 50cal, if not canon rounds.. 120mm Howitzer???
Blackpete... 6mm's, 6.5's, 7mm, and 30's.. I really dont care who shoots what and I am not bias towards any caliber.
I just went against the grain, and at that time the 6mmBR and 6mmBR improved's had just started to show their true capabilites with the introduction with the 600yd matches in the US. I just jumped on the wagon, and really have enjoyed it a lot.
No tuning problems, brass is excellent, projectiles are easy to come by and a lot to choose from, cheap to run, very low recoil.....
Of course there is disadvantages over the larger calibers, the biggest is being able to see the holes in the target... but if I cant see my holes, it will not be much longer before no one else can either with the mirage! The day I cant see them on the sighter plate will be the day I get rid of the Dasher.
Everybody has their preferences with styles and calibers, but if it works why change! If I ever went to a HG, I would choose the 300Ackley hands down..... if I were to start from scratch with a lightgun, would I choose ther Dasher again....
