i need some ideas or tips on marking brass for use in one rifle only?? as both rifles are the same calibre and will be using the same brand of brass so need to tell the two lot of fired brass apart.. any ideas will be great fellas

I don't bother to mark the brass, I just keep it in seperate lots in MTM ammo boxes labelled accordingly. When shootings over I just pop the empties back in the box for that tube. And they don't get mixed up.
If I have a few shells that are a bit suspect I mark the base with a coloured Artline texta to distinguish them, it seems to last for a few firings before needing remarking and the colour can be seen in the writing imprint on the base. Might work for you........

I own 2 270 rifles 1 is a bolt action the other a pump action. the easiest way i separate my brass for reloading is that i buy two different brands of brass that way i use one in one rifle and the other in the second rifle. that way i only have to neck size them and they still work it may cost a bit more to get organized but i think its a better option cheers rob
