My bad. Heard 'need help with picking new gun' and I was off.
No harm done. I never realised how keen everyone here is to spend other peoples money :) :)
It's the next best thing to buying for yourself. :)

This could be a goer. Good price and has muzzle break to keep lift down.

Now you've done it!

Right price, right location, all the bits, and even a similar scope to that on my 308W :D

Only downside is that Mrs Raven needs a birthday pressie first, otherwise I would be in serious trouble :(

The thought did cross my mind...for a split second. :P

Perhaps someone can buy it now, and I'll buy it off them in a few months. Same price of course :D

It's the least you guys could do, helping out a poor fellow shooter :D :D :D

What's our local Browning experts say about this?

By the look of it I would say it's their medium weight. Hard to know for sure unless you know the exact model.

Phew. Saves me some cash buying and holding onto it for you.
Go Mrs Raven! :)
First question for seller is which model is it. Second is what profile barrel is it?
Third is would you take $750.

Comp Stalker.
Asking about barrel now. Claims unknown, but they appear to only come in one profile.
Negotiating.

Better not be an AusVarminter selling it :|

Rings and muzzle brake worth $700?

Not on their own no.
As part of the deal - if you have a scope already set aside - yeah its not a bad price.

He mentioned paying that much for the brake and rings.

Negotiated but SNIPED at the last moment by someone supposedly offering full price...wait and see. :(

Just googled. It's sporter profile. Not sure what it converts to but doesn't look too thin.
Worth of rings and brake is hard to say without knowing what brand. At the end of the day it's only worth what someone is willing to pay.

$700?
