What does wild cherry look like when loved up Johnno? We have a bit in the stands of native bush here in the SW. I have often wondered whether it might be good for a forend tip to replace the plastic job on the BDL.

Anything from pink to red, its very close grained and hard as buggery. You have to be careful of the sanding dust as its very toxic so a mask is important, cyanide I think :? Ive got some staked over the next few weeks i'll be splitting and will check it out
