Anyone using this scope? If so what do you think of the quick focus, ive got that on a Nikkon & Vortex and find really good with these old eys. Also the reticle does it seem about the same as say a standard duplex leupold?

Don't have that Meopro model. Have a 3.5-10x44 though that's pretty good.

Johno - I don't have a 3-9 so can't comment on that , anything less than about a 16X & I need to get my white stick out. As far as the focus on the 4 or so I have , no problems at all. The recent 6-24 X 50 one I had the opportunity to look through had the 20 reticle in Z plex & I was informed it was very similar to the old Loopy duplex , & yes it was.

Thanks Barry,
Just thinking about putting one the 7.62x39 I sold the leupy 2.5-8x36 as I was having trouble using it well in low light.
Mate I thought about the3.5-10x44 but a bit much for the little carbine
I'm sorta over a lot of stuff these days bump, bump

Re: Meopta Meopro 3-9x42 zplex?
G'day Johno, several meoptas in the family with a 3-9x50 being the closet to what you
are enquiring about. To my eyes the zdplex on the meoptas is just a tad thinner than a
standard leupold duplex, I have vx3 & vx3i and both fine & standard duplex reticles so
I made the comparison.
The meopta scopes are very nice at low light and under the spotlight, to my old eyes
just a little bit brighter than the leupold's but not much in it.
Hope this helps, cheers
