Rinso... 300m is very very good Dasher territiory.. so is 500m... and hopefully when I can get a bit more experience the 1000yd also!

I may let someone shoot my second Dasher at Leeton also.....

Well sounds like a few of you guys are keen.

At this stage the shoot would be either the second or third weekend, but thats not concrete we have to run it through a meeting to decide what will suit best.

I think it will be all off the bench that way there wont be any problems with the overall placings because some people shot bench and some shot prone.

Yes you can shoot with a bipod from the bench if you like.

Ned and AI,
Yes guys those rifles would be classed as bench. They are fairly well customised.

Forgot to add,

Ned,
Your 6.5-20 will run out of adjustment so yes taper is required.

Rinso,
We can easily run 25-30 odd shooters. Look at the time of day we finished the august shoots.

I think an Ausvarmint get together would work well.

Hair Bear,
The ole ruger will be fine so long as its safe for the user and bystanders!
cheers,
Shane

Shane,

Yes I know we can fit them all on the benches ... but it would be more fun to make them shoot off the deck

chris,

I stayed at a van park cabin last time in Leeton about 5 minutes from the range. Fairly cheap and clean .. we might try and get a group discount out of them.

AI,
300m is very very good Dasher territiory.. so is 500m
Mate its uphill so the Dasher might struggle for that extra 200 to get to 500 .. fortunately the range ends at 300 so you will be ok.
Are you going to the 1000yd at Canberra 25/11/07 ?????

cheers

Rinso.. I hate it when its uphill.. got to put in another couple of grains in.......

I have a wedding to be at on the 24th........ so I will not be able to make it. I will be very hungover, or most likely still intoxicated. Would make some good driving and nice shooting!

Did you ring up about that duplicator?

Fellas, I think the caravan park would be the spot for camping!

Cheers

Andree, the caravan park cabins werent dear and we could easily share one (and the driving). Too early to make promises on the driving cos if I can get an excuse to see clients up that way I will go up on the friday and work will pay me a km allowance.

Sorry guys no camping on the range as its private property. Like Trev said the cabins are not expensive, even less if you guys were to bunk together ( but not too close!).

Narrandera is about 15-20 minutes from the Leeton range so if anyone wanted to store their rifles in the shop and camp at a pub or motel here thats fine.

If its any help, I can put up 6-8 people in the shearers quarters here at my place. I am 40 minutes east of Narrandera, so if anyone wants to save a few bucks on accomadation your welcome to stay here.
BYO swag, food and drink.
