Re: kickin
Correction. They do but it's incorporated into the trigger spring. My guess is the spring has been removed and the plunger lost while fucking around with it.

I'm thinking the big fella wants to take some backlash out of the trigger on his new toy which has the 'Tikka-style' trigger.kickinback wrote:Correction. They do but it's incorporated into the trigger spring. My guess is the spring has been removed and the plunger lost while fucking around with it.

Yes thats it.
Love the incoporated firing pin/Bolt stop.
I am about to pull the action out of the stock for more cleaning.

Re: kickin
Tell us more kickin. Do you need to swap to a longer plunger (the bit inside the trigger spring) to reduce the backlash?kickinback wrote:They do but it's incorporated into the trigger spring.

Oh you are talking about that type of back lash, I reckon Trovert had visions of domineering wimmins, fishnet stockings, whips and high heel thigh boots.MISSED wrote:The distance the trigger blade travels after the sear release

Re: kickin
And if the sear releases and the gun fires why is backlash an issue! I've never noticed what happens to any of my triggers after it goes bang
