Arrrgh the 22 so much fun in a little package :D

My model 2 shoots the old blue box subs very well and also the stingers with no ill effects after 2 or 3 boxes enough for rabbits at 100, only use them sometimes.

Tried some rws subs once didn't like it just no where near as consistent. Power Points were always pretty good when using them out of dads ammo box :D Haven't tried the new winnie stuff yet.

That timber looks pretty good for a factory rifle, there's definitely worse looking stocks to be had.

A bit of extra clearance in the barrel channel :D

Added benefit it is now a lot smoother in there now, a good rubbing with boiled linseed and it should be sealed even better than before.

At least it has given me something to do after work during the week
The Lowey kit should be here early next week, so I can throw that in :D
Little jobs I would have done anyway, so nice to get em out of the way first :D

If it's good enough for cricket bats it'll be fine.

I was surprised not to get a disparaging comment about my use of Tru-oil!

But Marcus, we expect that from a cheap arse like you, suppose we thought that Waldo would have a bit more class that comes with wearing "THAT" hat. Funny how you can know a bloke for years and still be wrong about him.

Mm not too sure if that last comment from the humped one is:
a) a cheap shot at Marcus
b) a cheap shot at me
c) a cheap shot at Marcus and I (hope the correct grammar is appreciated  )
d) a strong admiration for my hat

Anyway, the Lowey kit turned up today 8)

Whack the smallest shim in (yeh, directions said to put the biggest in and test and work down but hey that seemed like hard work and the stock trigger was pretty good for play) then put in the second heaviest spring (the other looked a bit spindly). Gave it a quick test out of the stock for 1lb 8oz 8) Whacked it all back together and tested again and it read 1lb 12oz. mm must have been the angle on the gauge. Either way it felt pretty good and around that weight I'm happy with :D

Just gotta shoot it now :o

Cheers,
Waldo

Long as you're happy with the job mate, that's all that matters.

As to the cheap shots, A. yes,
B. yes,
C. yes, and (grammar noted and saved for future reference)
D. definitely NO
