Stainless HOWA's

Post by bsg »

I'm after a stainless Howa and noticed on the Legacy sports page that Howa's are listed as either blued or Grey Cerakoted, yet Australian gunshops list them as stainless.
So are Howa's stainless or just cerakoted to look stainless?

I read something about a recent change where they stopped making stainless and are using the Lithgow method where you either buy a black or silver rifle. I suppose it saves them having 2 different production setups.

There definitely were stainless ones in the past.
