One particular thing I remember about them is they bite when you put your fingers in the wrong place. :D
Yeh, the joist clamps came out of my dads shed when I was cleaning stuff out. Bloody hell there was a lot of stuff to go thru some of which I would have liked to have kept but never would have used and only would have ended up taking up space. Ended up off loading a lot of it to a guy who was a bit of a ship builder and worked on paddle steamers and the like and at least he was going to appreciate it and use it for what it was intended.

I only ever did a couple of timber trip flooring jobs when I was a youngster on the tools but yeh they did a grouse job 8)

When the floor boards humped up when clamped up, you soon learned not to jump on them, to flatten them out, with bare feet.

I bought myself the one I wanted. Nothing flash like a 10,000 dollar shotgun or anything. Is a Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon Classic. Was the nicest feeling one to me out of all the ones I tried including some much more expensive ones. It is only getting used for walk around bunny busting and off the back of the ute chasing foxes so didn't want to go too expensive for that reason as well.

Had a miroku mk70 sporter found a Browning cynergy pro trap with the strait stock not the one with recoil pad built into the stock loved it use it for DTL every week but have rolled countless foxes rabbits pigs with it as well. I made it a parallel comb that made big difference to.
