My new fly gun build and a nice fluke as well
So as a few here would know I was selling my stolle grizzly fly gun. The reason being is I wish to set up an identical rifle to my young blokes fly gun. Stolle Panda action, Krieger barrel and McMillian MBR tracker stock.
Well a few months ago I had a mate take my young blokes stock and using stock duplicator make me the same shape from a nice piece of stringy bark laminate I have. Those who saw my last one will know they are nice bits of timber.
I have been on the lookout for another panda action and through the grape vine heard a bloke in wagga had one that had just been returned to him from the Police after the Clancy fiasco.
A few phone calls and guess what I picked up last week.
I ordered a Krieger 6mm 1:8 30 inch barrel this week.
This is how the build is starting to look.
Going to be a 6mm Dasher. Ordered a shilen trigger from pro cal and teed up Russel from Group Solutions for the gunsmithing. Still got to get a 20MOA rail and dies yet.
Anyway when I get the action home I take a good look at it and say"gee that serial no looks familiar".
Sequential serial numbered Stolle Panda's. how cool is that!

Consecutive serial number are very nice. Better than finding out both have the same number....

Very cool. Is the Clancy fiasco reaching a conclusion?

From my understanding Wagga firearms have a large number of items released from Police custody.

Sequential numbers in a matched pair of rifles. Very cool! Who has the lower number?
