Do the 22 barrels perform any better if set at 18-20FPE like the R10s do Gavin?

Been faffing around with the Gen 1 Royale and its LW barrel. Sweet spot between 175 to 135 bar and around the 855 +/- 10 fpe. Still a whopping 80 shots. I redid the shot string with Crosman pellets and decided I didn't need to splash out on a reg.

No Geoff. The 12ft/lb version has had the same problems. The great American tuner Allen Zasadny
Says the ones he's worked on had oversized bores.

I think HW have tweeted the barrels. You don't hear of it a the newer guns. Ian at the gun room tests them all the time and he tells me there good.
