Just shoot them in NSW with the swede then

Swede will be tricky in a 308 magazine and would be the pick especially in a modern action if going 6.5 .....yes I'm biased

308 would be easiest but if the 308 why stop there 338 fed or the 358 winchester would be great and also perfect for flattening pigs

Don't know if you will reload or buy ammo though which is major consideration. If buying ammo 308 would have to win but that being said if mainly chasing deer there is loaded ammo for the others and you don't need boxes and boxes of ammo for the odd freezer filler or trophy on the wall.

T3 action is long so you just change the magazine

Plus one on the 308W mate. I have only been lobbing lead at Sambar for a short while and it has worked well for me. Running 150gr Nosler BT's and knocked a couple over no problem.

Hi mostly fallow with the odd chitll seen 2 red in my life time. My action is a tikka m55 was s 22/250 now a 1:8 twist 22BR I have a action tool to change the barrel out I only hunt pigs and deer up in Texas about week a year so wouldn't be changing the barrels much. I do have a 6.5 barrel I can use thinking a 260rem because it would feed out of my magazine I hope. I also can get my hands on 7mm barrel if I want it 7mm-08?. I did have a 308 for 3 years sold it as it made me flinch from recoil.

I think the biggest limiting factors for you will be overall magazine length and bolt face size. Find a cartridge that works within those two parameters.
