Whats on in Canberra in March 08
I will be bringing the kids over to Canberra for a week to catch the Brumbies v Hurricanes and the Brumbies v Cheetahs. Having never been to a range before i wouldnt mind dropping in and having a look. Is their anything on event/competition wise between the 14th and 23rd of March?
I will probably drive from Roxby to Canberra via Broken Hill but equally i might end up flying to save time/money.
Hope to catch up with some of you if possible

Malcolm, I have used Shane's twice. I was about to go off on my normal "reinventing the wheel' weird idea search and ignore advice from Shane, Rinso and many others. I managed to stop myself and listen to sense! Therefore i have had no input on the specs, Ackley Improved had a 6.5 barrel and BAT action and decided not to build that rifle. he has kindly let me have them ( like sold them to me, not a gift ). It will have a Shehane Tracker in Indian paint (which is my only input on component selection) and an NF 12-42 x 56 np2 dd.
I dont even know the barrel twist. I asked Shane if it was right , he said yes so i asked him to build it as if it was his rifle and tell me how much at the end!

Jeez Trev,
your a real dead set worry!
Guess I can't talk, as I just picked up my BAT DS on sunday, and have a matter of weeks to ready it for Portland next month.
Then I have to start saving to turn the Hall into a F(O) class rifle
Ah well your only here for a short time, might as well make it a good time!
Cheerio Ned

Weekend of the fly shoot would normally have been on the 8th and 9th of March next year. Something was mentioned about moving the fly so it doesn't clash with another shoot, but I havent heard anything more on it.
Other than that, same stuff thats on in Canberra every other month of the year, bugger all.
