220 Swift
Re: 220 Swift
I finally managed to bring the old Ruger home the other day, it will be a couple of more weeks before I get it out to the range but I reckon it should do the job. The scope shows a bit of wear but being an old kahles super is still crystal clear. A bit of figure in the butt stock too, not as good as one I let go previously but better wood than on my 303. Look forward to getting it out.

This is one of those right place right time purchases for me, though apparently it was sold to the dealer I got it from as the owner was effectively going blind due to diabetes, which is not something I would wish on anyone.Branxhunter wrote:Oh yeeeaaahhh. But only fitting that it continues to get some use.

Re: 220 Swift
Have always had excellent results with AR2209 in my Swifts. Current load produces 3975 FPS in a 24" Maddco and about half MOA with the 50gn NBT.
