G'day all, will try to give a brief account of the two days.
Saturday had light winds in the morning for the custom 50mtr,I had a good morning at 50mtr I won't go into group sizes and who finished where as hopefully someone can post the results but Barry Hilzinger shot a .176 @50mtr and Jeff corbett shot a .289 @100mtr in the custom,I think everyone was glad to see the day end.
Sunday was a bit trickier with the wind swirling a lot and even a couple of wirlywinds went across the range ,there was a very young lady shooting as a junior who shot a .173 in the traditional @ 50mtr on sunday and finished 4th overall for the weekend, remarkable effort good on you Sophie.
I had just picked up a new second hand hunter class rifle, stuck the weaver 6x20x40 grand slam on and a quick bore sight, bring on sundays events, the wind was giving everyone the yips, but as usual the cream rose to the top as there were some good groups put down at both yardages.Clinton Harrison cleaned up with John Cook 2nd over the two distances. The 2 gun agg was won by John Cook with a .7880,2nd Clinton Harrison with a .8265,3rd Jeff Corbett with a .8502,and I just got into the top ten with a 10th Chris Tyne with a .9966.
If and when the results are posted the traditional results are actually the custom class and vise versa.

Damien, the custom class has a weight limit of 14lb,forend width not exceeding 3 inches, any scope power is allowed, there are more rules than that but they are the basics.
Traditional is a 7lb12oz weight limit, forend width not exceeding 2.1/4 inches, restricted to a 6x power scope, you can use a variable as long as the rifle still makes weight, and they tape the power ring before the event.
The hunter class is basicaly the same as traditional but the rifle has to have a magazine that holds 2x rounds and feeds correctly from the mag.
That is a very basic over view but will give you an idea as to whats required.
