how much

I was gonna buy a 12-42 br NF from Luke but.............

you have my attention.

On a dual purpose target and varmint rifle
To big for a varmint rifle Trev.
The field of view with that scope dose not work very well in the field.

You need two scopes Trev.

with qd mounts.

I have been thinking of doing the same thing with one of my rifles, have a small power scope for general use and a bigger one for long range. The rifle is a switch barrel so you can pick the scope to suit the need at time.

After seeing the price of both the NF and the sightron I can see why you went that way Scott. Very nice scope indeed!!

I am thinking of doing the QD for two of my rifles and now I found EGW doe a rail for the stevens and the mauser it should work.

Two wallets won't fix your problems - I have 2 and they are both empty :-?
Recommend you get a 2nd job and see if that helps

With the MOA reticle you get a floating 1/8moa dot, not sure what power it is at though.
