Jan Field Target Comp - Hornsby range - Sat 23rd Jan

Post by JWD »

First one for 2016. Save the date.

Targets should be easier to hammer into the ground after all that rain :)

noted!
nothing on the radar - should be ok.

Might have to blow the dust off the Evanix this time! poor little fella hasnt seen the light of day for a bit.
Need to tune it down a bit more, might try a 12fpe tune or maybe 16fpe.

Was a smallish turnout (6) which I suspect was due to the patchy weather but we had clear skies and gentle light for the entire day. The smaller number also allowed some flexibility in shooting and gave everyone some good practice time as well as the comp itself. The club has now gained 4 new members since the start of comps last year so hoping this is going to continue to grow.
