An interesting shoot this arvo; bitching mirage to start with around noon;(the big bore shooters before us couldn't see the markers @ 700 yards!) and then the wind kicked in; switched from 5 0'clock around to 10 o'clock with speeds from minimal to 25+ mph. Didn't stop TonyZ putting down a sub 2 incher with the light rifle early in the arvo, then aJR blitzed a sub 1.4" with that big heavy gun of his: scored 50 3X on that one. As we shoot two details of 5 shots each on each target (saving munny) the final 10 shots would have fallen well under 4' I suspect; didn't see the final outcome as I had to bolt off home.
Everyone (all 8 shooters) were caught at one time or another while lazybones didn't get the Ackky ready in time.
Fly next Saturday morning; maybe I can get things organarsed by then.
aJR might post some piccies if he's feeling good.

JR I would like to say thanks for using such a democratic approach with the vote seriously though I am looking forward to being more involved next year.
For all other areas shooting long range get the 600yd into your calendar for next year as this is one shoot that you can compete in even with a factory rifle and still post pretty good scores unlike the Fly which is a less forgiving target.
If you are looking for any information on what has been done this year then get in touch with myself or JR and we will be more than happy to help out in any way we can.
