Air Gunner mag

Post by Whitey »

Picked up my September issue of Air Gunner this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see an article about Harry FULLER entitled "Long Ranger". Congratulations Harry on getting recognition for your efforts. Far more patience than myself. I get this mag every month but cringe each time as in Australia it is over $10. This would be fine except that it contains a huge amount of full page adds. I just counted and the first 20 pages are full page adds before you actually get to read something. In total there are 55 pages that are full page adds or several adds that take up a full page. The editors of this mag need to have a good look at themselves. :?

I used to get that, and Airgun World and John Darling's Sporting Air Rifle every month. Got a huge pile of 80's airgun mags here. It's like most magazines - full of ads. You should see mountain bike mags....

I might put mine together and see if anyone is interested in buying them. I wouldn't mind a few of your old one's Fenring.

Ogre.
There are variations between the FX produced airguns eg gauge,stock,brass bolt etc but basically they are
Excalibre = Tarantula = FX2000 = Black Widow?
Rapier = Timberwolf

They make for good nostalgia. Back in the days when the HW35E and FWB Sport were king, and the HW80 hadn't even come out.
