I wonder if the actual moment of realisation is captured in this photo :)

You betcha JWD. Happy to own up. At least that was my ONLY moment. Eh Matt? There were two with single Oh Farck moment and ONE with TWO. Yep two.

Just got home from a 4,300 km round trip. Two medals made it worthwhile. So did catching up with everyone.

Heads up guys. Melbourne is the next likely location in Sept 2016. Stay tuned.

A Melbourne comp sounds great. Maybe running an annual event like this could use a Missathon type format. That would provide more potential sites to use?

:D I reckon that`s a similar expression to the one I had on my face Geoff when halfway through the second round my M.rod decided to do a perfectly executed impersonation of `Olag Korbut crossed with a Tomato Stake`

Only SSAA approved or affiliated sites may be used for official comps mate. At this stage only QLD and the ACT have this as a approved discipline. Unless the SSAA of each state approves the discipline, it doesn't even officially exist. We'll see what happens at the National Discipline Chairmen's meeting next weekend.

My suggestion for Hornsby once FT is approved in the state, is to use the 50m range for sighting and use the big bore range next door for your actuall FT range setup.

Even one of the more experienced FT shooters shot a target out of order. Not saying who but may have just cost him a gold master grade medal. :? And an equal national record. Glad to here everyone got home safe and sound.
