I'm sure there some information coming. There was a few new national records set. Most of the members here did very well most importantly got to catch up with some people and meet some new faces. I'm pretty sure everyone had a great time. The top two scores in PCP were 55 and 54 ill leave you to guess some names. :D .
The course was fantastic. Ok I will let some others fill in some more information and stories.

Where to start? I have been privileged over the years to have shot many disciplines and met many people and I have to say
my first ARFT shoot was up there with the best. Arrived at the range on Thursday arvo to find a few people relaxing after
setting the targets, Chris checked the targets with a 7ftlb 10mtr rifle if they would go down with that they would fall with
anything. Friday was sight in and then a 30 shot match mainly for those people without a grade to be graded and become familiar
with the rules and range etiquette. Wow what a fun shoot, targets set in lanes cut into the bush, up in trees, very close with tiny
kill zones and way out there with plenty of time to be influenced by the wind I shot with Chris and Craig two of the best shots in
the country, talk about have pressure to preform, I shot good enough to be graded AAA one grade from the top with a 24/30.
Saturday was check in and zero then off to shoot 30 targets I was privileged to be squadded with Jared McCarthy our top junior
and a very nice young man, Thanks for the experience, I shot 23 and was happy except for one shot where I made a mistake on
ranging the distance. Back for lunch then out for another 30. I managed 24 this time equal first in AAA so out for a shoot off.
Shoot offs in the higher grades are done standing, not my strongest position, I won the toss of the coin so I elected to shoot first
and managed 3 from 3 Ryan managed to shoot the first 2 but was unlucky n the last one so I was the winner of my first comp.
Stoked.
The day was capped off with a fantastic seafood and game dinner put on by the crew of the Tin Can Bay SSAA branch.
Sunday was springer day zero than out for our first 30 and to say I struggled would be an understatement didn't shoot very well
but it goes to show you get back what you put in as I had not practiced with the springer electing to get used to the EV2.
Quick lunch thanks to the gang in the canteen then out for another 30 I shot a bit better but only just.
There was some magnificent scores shot over the weekend, I don't know the final numbers but a few records tumbled and
congratulations to those people.
Maybe someone with the full scores can post them.
I would like to thank all people involved in a great weekend The Tin Can Bay SSAA branch and there hard working members.
The people who helped cut in the lanes and set the targets.
Lastly a special thanks should go out to Chris and Heather Dale without their driving force I doubt ARFT would be as strong as
it is.
All we need to do now is bring other states in line with Qld.
Photos of the range to follow.
Cheers
Gary

Yeah have to agree with you there Gary. I have been to a lot of shooting comps as well (As a spectator) and I must say this was easily the best one buy far. great layout, great range, great club and most importantly a great bunch of people who's sportsmanship and friendliness is what makes FT what it is. That was Jared's last comp as a junior I really hope more juniors take up FT as it really is one of the best shooting disciplines out there.

Here is the PCP scores for all those interested.
