I saw this Ruger on Used Guns and think it would go very nicely with my Ruger American in 243 and my to Howa 1500 in 204 and 223.
What do you lads think ?
Am I on the right track.?
Is the Calibre too close to the 243?

Is this the one?

Looks pretty good, but I have no idea on what it's worth etc.

The Ultralight? My opinion, too short a barrel for a 270Win. The cartridge is more a small bore magnum, better 2" more than 2" less barrel.

I agree with Con. I really think the .270 needs a 24inch barrel to shine.
In any case, it's certainly a step up from the .243.

Re: Ruger 270
Just saw the add on used guns. I wouldn't buy anything from that particular dealer. Send me a pm if you want to know why. Just my personal experience of course...
Are you close to the Blue Mountains by any chance? I might be still interested in selling my .270 remington for not much more than that.
