Any opinions from users on these or other reticle options welcome

G'day trev,
as a BR shooter, I like an uncluttered view and just hold off, a lot of F class shooters like stadia marks, but I fear that one day I'll throw a match by using the wrong one as my aim point. Since you are aiming at circle you need to have either fine CH or a 1/8moa dot.
My NF 8-32 has the NP2-DD which is for LR varminting and F class. i haven't used it yet and it will fit it to my .223 to start with then my 6x47 lapua when it is built
Cheerio Ned.

This happened to one of the F-Open leaders at the SA Queens last weekend. I aim off with a fine cross-hair using the the target rings only. Its not ideal for "measuring" the amount of MOA aim-off, but works okay in practice.

The one I bought recently was a 12-42 BR model with a CH2 reticle in it. I thought I'd have a hard time adjusting to something other than a mil dot type scope, but have been really surprised with how easy it was to adapt. You just find other things to use as hold off points. And as was said earlier, it gives you less opportunity to screw yourself over by using the wrong dot or bar as your hold off marker.
