G'day Gents
I'll be there.
The hammer spring on my ".303" has been turned back 1x turn since the July shoot.
(I initially started with a 1/4turn, but it only made a very slight difference, so I did another 3/4 turn).
Maybe it's now a .302 ???
I was sick last week. So could not take it to the range to calculate/fine tune my new velocity/energy.
See what happens on Saturday.
Look forward to shoot with you guys again.

Another great day today,
Excellent weather saw a good turnout of around 10 people, mostly regulars but good to see a few new faces each time. Some new gear to be seen as well, from Nate's antique Gecado which was a joy to shoot, up to Grmkc and Mattw975's brand new Goldstars which got a lot of attention. With one (major) exception, it was good to see that the general power of rifles is down from previous comps with most rifles sitting around the 12-13 ft lb level. This made for a much quieter and more challenging day for everyone and provides a more level playing field.
Geoff and Matt also brought along some of their new kit for display which is much better than looking at a catalogue. Hopefully future comps get similar interest from sponsors and we can give people more exposure to the higher end gear out there.
Looking forward to the next comp, most likely mid Sept.

Sensational day out...
Good to have a shirtload of spinners out too, every time we had a break you could go crazy and plink & range & train a little without having to pull up the sqwrls!
Might have to reset the range finders to other locations next time.
So happy with the little gecado, we didnt see the magic 700fps, but it was shooting pretty flat & if i did better - it would've scored up there.
Cant believe it was shooting a ragged hole at 25 after 50-60years & not much maintenance!
Also good to shoot youngy's - even if it was dieseling a little...
