Yeah they are the the hornady 25gr hp. I can't find anything but the 20gr vmax/nosler and 25gr HP.
Wouldn't mind trying the 25gr vmax

Nope, got a dozen or so, they shoot really really well in my 17/222.

Re: Picked up this today (cz527 17 rem)
This cz keeps getting better. I decided to try some slower loads as fox heads don't like 20gr vmaxs at over 4300fps as the picture below shows. The Adi book now suggests 2207 as a powder for 17 rems. 16gr of 2207 and a 25gr vmax gave me 3410fps which was exactly what i wanted. At the same time I borrowed a mate's 17 hornet to test and got some good groups with 11.4gr of 2207 with 20gr nosler.
Noise levels were very similar between to 17 rem and hornet with this load which was a surprise.
A 5 shot group at 100 confirmed what I had hoped for. The group could be covered with a dollar coin.
Cheers

Re: Picked up this today
I've got three Meopro's now. 3.5-10, 4-12x50 & 6-18x50. No flys on them at all. Not a Swaro but not far off for the price difference. The Raven wrote:Interesting, I was quoted one of these the other day and had a quick squiz through it. It's pretty hard to evaluate a scope in a gun shop, so I appreciate someone here sharing there opinion. FWIW I couldn't see any significant difference between another scope I was also looking at which leaves me just as confused as when I walked in.Waldo wrote:I have a Meopro 6x18x50, pretty happy with it.lawsie wrote: Any thought's on the meopta meopro scope's?
They seem to get some good reviews and the price is reasonable
