trev,
Well "that's a nice knife" is pretty boring. I just thought of a different way to say "I like that knife"
But as an aside, who is older, me or you

Keep your dirty cotton picking eyes off that Old Timer in Trev's photo, that's mine, all mine,
I had a set of those little throwing knives in your top photo, spent many an hour throwing them into the old yellow box tree in the back yard when I was a kid. Did a silly thing one day and tried to skewer a duck on the creek, never did find that one, the others, well I dunno what happened to them, was a fair while ago as I got them for my 7th birthday.
Still got some of my brush cutting machetes in the shed, never thought of including them, Ill did em out.

Re: Show Us Your All Purpose Fixed Blade Knives!
that 3 pack of knives and that single,i purchased from kmart back in 89/90. i think i was 20 or 21 at the time.
there was 2 of those bigger ones.like you, lost one.but mine went after a crow in the paddock next door, only to never be seen again in the long grass.
back in them days,i was really into throwing stuff.knives,machetes,axes,tomahawks... was reasonably good at it,until i moved back to dads and closer to the pub
that big cleaver was my grandads too,it was custom made for him by someone my uncle knew.[not a custom design] the handle has finger grips in it.
sean.

I'll give you that one
A true Irishman, inspired by guiness or the poisonous colonial brews foisted onto him may well make that mistake with 40 plus years on you

That Jungle warrior is a good blade! I belted the crap out of it and it held it's edge well. Fun knife.

Re: Show Us Your All Purpose Fixed Blade Knives!
I still fail to see how I'd actually use it though. Like it sleeps next to my bed but short of that its too big to want to do any sort of work with. I only bought it cos they wanted $20 for it after the review so I was like why the hell not but other than that I can't see it having a real good use for me especially once my Schrade SCHF36 arrives.lowndsie wrote:That Jungle warrior is a good blade!
