SSAA Springer Maintenance Article

Post by Druid66 »

Just read an excellently written Spring-gun Maintenance Article in this months SSAA magazine - Just thought I`d say how impressed I was with it and how pleased I am that articles of this quality are now finally appearing in our own national periodicals.

Was a pretty good piece. Hopefully inspire a few people to maintain their air arms.

I used similar methods to tune both my air rifles (way before this article was written) and the results of less shot noise and consistent velocities and accuracy are well worth the effort involved.

There was the mention of that dodgy local tuning guy too... hmmmm
Shout out to Matt!!!

yeah there's been a huge focus on AR's of late, good to see the public finally seeing the light! :)
we just need some more publicity about what they're capable of!

Yep, my thoughts too, the first decent air gun related article I've seen written in a local mag and a nice touch at the end mentioning Matt, well done.

It was written by a knowledgeable colleague of ours under a pen name. Some of the references he quoted are a dead giveaway .......... if you know them, that is.

It was a great article in that it was informative & about using/owning one.
Not just another "ad" for a new or old piece of equipment.

Great depth in this one - which is rare for AR's so far.
