Sounds like it was pretty hard all round the top f classers at our club were only 112, 113 and 115 and that was at 600

So yesterday was out to 700 yards, showers looked likely but held off and even fined up later. Wind oh how many MOA to put on start at 3 and end up with 4 and a half. Took a few rounds to find the centre but when I did X 6 6 6 but couldn't keep it up and finished with 5's for a 54.1
Second stage was very much easier, switched between 2 and 2.5 moa on started my first two sighters were X X 6 and only drop'd 3 out of the centre for the rest of the stage to finish with a 57.2
So all in all pretty happy with that considering the wind that was not just a straight cross wind but angled up the the range as well. Put that into perspective I was only 1 and 2 pt's behind two guys in the club who are on the NSW F class team :D :D :D

Nah Lonerider I'm at Bathurst, a difficult range most of the time. Hard to judge, at the 700 mound the wind was blowing almost 45 to 60 degree's up the range at times, and at other times almost straight across. Was a bit tricky, Grahame Willis out shot all of us with a 115.8, still in those conditions only being 4.5 pt's behind I think is a bloody good effort, I only started in November last year. :):)

So at Missathon, how far can we shoot, i will bring my Omark and wouldn't mind shooting out to 1000 yards to get some elevation setting's.

Do you know your velocity? I still have my data for when I had my Omark, it may give you a ball park figure to start with.

2 days takes me to south lake macquarrie.but i dont drive after dark.roughly 16hrs total.

no worries mate, the range isnt likely to move,or me.

btw,im running 46gn of 2208 in my omark [tiny] with a 26" barrel and 155gn projectiles with no pressure signs on the primers.
i will have to get a proper 100yrd group test done when i get back.
