Hi Dave looks like I'll be making the trek to try this wind reading stuff again. I hope to have a 20 dasher by then and see if the hype about 55gn bergers has any truth to it. Otherwise I'll find out if any of my varmint rifles can make the distance. If benches are full I'll spectate

g'day trevor

no need to spectate, mark, rod and yourself are all in the draw.

as of today we have the maximum 40 confirmed individual entries for the 2016SCC, although going on previous years, these numbers may possibly fluctuate between now and july 2016.

additional entries will be placed on the reserve list. if withdrawals occurr, those on the reserve list will be notified asap.

in addition to the SCC are you interested in attending the thursday GunPro1000 ?

cheers

G'day Jacko, sorry mate I didn't know you were on this forum. A very big thanks to you for your generosity, and the information that you and the others willingly shared with a new bloke. Thanks for the offer of the use of your rifle mate, Ill just have to wait and see what turns out with this 6.5x284 caper. Cases, well, I got two hundred from another source thanks, managed to get some dies in the deal as well, so have that area pretty well covered mate. Will catch up with you again mate. :D

shown below is the rough nomination list for the 2016 SCC.

while the names won't be changed (to protect the innocent) more than likely there will be changes made to the nominated classes of shooting.

due to the fact that we look like having the full complement of competitors (40), if things remain as they are, shooters can only enter 1 class and therefore those who have shot 2 classes previously, will have to prioritise their class requirements for 2016.

however there is no urgency on this and we have plenty of time to sort this out down the track.

numbers and entry class requirements are sure to continue to fluctuate between now and july.

2016 Nominations as @ 10-1-16

LGM - J Brook B Morgan J Russ P Taylor A Taylor D Forster L Moorish H Taylor S Monaghan C Simpson T Thompson M Dureau G Woods - 13

LGB - G McMullen D Goodridge M Easton T Deehan S Goodridge B Profke K Deehan
S Nielsen T Armstrong L Bartimote R Rainbow R Mulholland J Nielsen J Lavarang D Parravicini 308 J McQuire D Thrower R Davies C Nocente - 19

HGB- T Pavey (HG or LG) J Saligari (HG or LG) J Harrison C Goulden (HG or LG) A Nielsen (HG or LG) G Groves (HG or LG) P Deehan A Bending - 8

not that long to the SCC.

in fact it will be here before i can get all of the fouling out of my 1998 vintage 2500 round 280 ackley.

for the SCC and the GunPro 1000, those who achieve the Small Group and Highest Scoring Target in the respective classes will receive the following;-

yeah, i know, the Highest Scoring Target winners will have to source their own blades !!!!

Dave,

Good looking prizes. You should put me in for LG as well as HG, with Jack, Al and Sophie out, and Don looking uncertain, there might be room for me to shoot two classes.

hi jeff and jack

jeff, if we end up with less than the full 40 individual nominations, yep, we will open the draw for people to shoot 2 classes.

AND

jack, just for you and your family, if it is of any help, we have a baby crèche and all associated facilities on standby (play pen, nappy change table, clothes line, clothes dryer, bottle warmer, spare dummies etc).

It will be in the white Mercedes van.

cheers
