I have heard some say these pills can be choosy in what rifles they shoot in. Others swear by them.

I tried them years ago in a 6/250 and a 243 for reasonable results. Cant remember loads as it was around 6 or 7 years ago.

My load development nearly always starts with the adi manual and the powder shown with the highest velocity for the chosen pill.
Its always worked so far

ok well that was great advice. ADI dont list the 6x47lap

If you look at 243 for a guide I would say keep trying 2209 and if you have no pressure signs keep adding powder. if a 243 can take 43gns 2209 then I would guess that the 6x47l can handle a little more than you have fed it so far

In 30 years of reloading I've found no matter what powder you try as long as its correct burning rate you won't take a bullet that shoots over moa down to a 1/4 or 1/2 moa shooter no matter what charge , I usually forget it pretty quickly and try another bullet you no kills well , just trying to save you all the headaches I put myself through years ago :D

^^^ what he said. If a gun wont shoot the bullet, theres no sense trying to force it. Maybe the 1:10 is a little slower in actual life than advertised. Try the 80gr nosler or 75 vmax.
