Looks great, judging distance over water would be a challenge, windy and wet just to add to the difficulty.

I have a potential site here in Vic that would be excellent for a set up like that...just need more time on my hands to make it happen....or Geoff?

We`ve got a similar site here at Coffs too - Been talking to the committee about getting a comp going ASAP and things are very hopeful - But as Havoc says these things take time.

I've got a big box of targets that I will bring to any event. Sort of a traveling FT Evangelist

I've got a box of about 25 and Niggel has another 5 - 10. This FT disciple has it covered for the southern climes. We may both have to haul stuff up for Druid though.

Like Havoc mentioned, we have a few lined up but it's a case of keeping on the legal side of the law and insurance companies, and all the red tape vagaries of the shooting bodies and their NON communication (FGA, SSAA, FTA, etc).

If we had similar Firearms law as the UK or NZ, we would be way ahead of where we are now.

I shot at a venue at Coffs at the weekend that would be perfect for FT a lot of lanes cut in scrub as well a open ground.
Plenty of camping and parking good amenities just of the highway.

I guess the template for air rifle and other firearms would be similar.

I understand there are on going discussion at Coffs already. There are about 8 or 10 guys ready to go, so I am led to believe. There is a lot of organisational chest beating that we have to overcome as FT shoot organisers before we even get to step foot on a range.

Coffs course is ideal for FT - The best way I see of doing it though is going to be within the club itself - I reckon I`ll see if they'll have me

I shot on the range on Saturday, no worries, just with a different gun.
I know what you are saying about chest beating but multiuse of the
ranges are the go. Our shotgun range has a model plane strip on it
and have had no problems from those guys they even pick up a few
targets that stray on their strip for us
I am in a similar boat where I shoot but the range could be certainly
used for FT. Any body know range requirements / fallout zones and
template for air rifle?
