Well as predicted, the rain that was gently falling on our arrival at Narromine yesterday cleared just before lunch today letting a few tests to be done. Well the wind was up and it was pretty cold for us North Queenslanders but all in all looks like the guns are working ok.

Also according to Mr Bending I need to get some coaching from the daughter who shot some better groups with the shared light gun

I claim I was showing her what not to do

Am still trying to get up there in the next day or so, not sure either way at the moment, but will try. You blokes have a good time, the wind has been out of the south here, spose you will be getting the same, bloody cold and around 50/50 overcast here, but no rain expected. Looks like a big high coming over tomorrow, so you will probably have sunny with light winds over the weekend. All the best, and good shooting

we got 300 this weekend [28th june] and 900 the next [5th july],if your heading past emerald....
dunno if you bench guys can handle it off the mound though......

Just saw a picture of Saligari there Dave. Don't NSW have "anti bikie" laws like we have up here? If it looks like, smells like and owns a Harley???????

Well, just got back home after a nice afternoon drive. WOW

what an experience, any of you blokes that are thinking, or have thought, of going to one of these events, you have to get ya arses into gear and go. Top bunch of blokes, all too willing to share invaluable information with an amateur. Dave, Al, Jack, Jeff, Jacko (what a cracker of a bloke) as well as being a crack-up

, Paul, his wife and daughter, Sofie, thankyou all for a really enjoyable time. Albow, mate thanks for letting me have a crack at your light gun. What a great crew, fantastic weather, green grass, the whole kit and caboodle.

wont say Im hooked, but Ill give it a crack one of these days, sooner rather than later.

In my best Arnie imitation: "Ahll be back", might have to bring up the old Mauser 300winmag and give you all a run for your money.

Sorry if I didn't mention any of the others there.

Ill put some photos up tomorrow.
