I was watching some silly "How do they make it show" the other day. You know the type "Here's how to make some ridiculously complex item, dumbed down into 3 steps". One segment involved a lot of wood work and the hostr kept using incorrect/cringeworthy descriptions for various tools. When he started calling an adz an ax, and then a spoke shave a chisel I tuned out.
Everyone has to learn etc but to go out of his way to misname tools, particularly while the craftsman is in front of him, was unforgivable.
Well, that's my early morning gripe over.

Thanks for the links fellas
If anyone is in the Canberra area and has a 4x4 they really should visit Coolamine Station.
I first saw it in a fairly run down state in the late 70`s and I was pleasantly surprised when i returned not long after the Axemen had restored the Homestead.

To go off topic a bit, I was at the Proserpine show yesterday and had the pleasure of watching this bloke complete.

I remember watching David Foster competing when he was setting records. They were all good to watch but he was bit special
